GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Financial Services Representative is essential in branch operations, managing tasks like opening accounts, cross-selling products, and assisting customers. They also refer customers to specialists and educate them on bank services, while maintaining a cash drawer and performing teller functions. Additionally, they must stay updated on financial regulations to ensure compliance.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues or concerns.
- Conducting a variety of banking transactions, including opening and closing accounts, and processing deposits and withdrawals. Mainly responsible for the new accounts area of the branch.
- Assisting consumers with online and mobile banking services, including setting up personal online banking accounts, troubleshooting technical issues, and answering questions. Maintaining a high level of knowledge about bank products and services, as well as industry trends and developments.
- Participating in training programs to develop skills and knowledge and staying up-to-date with changes in banking regulations and policies.
- Ensuring compliance with all banking regulations and policies, including those related to money laundering and fraud prevention.
- Experience with Fiserv Navigator, Business Process Manager, Integrated Teller, Director.
